About the opportunity

Working closely with the Marketing Director and co-founders of the business, we are looking for a Marketing Manager to lead our daily salon marketing activities. This is a fast paced and exciting position and the star applicant will be responsible for driving the development and execution of all salon and spa marketing initiatives.

With 15+ different beauty brands under our management, the ideal candidate will be a dynamic individual – highly organised and able to plan marketing schedules in advance, but flexible enough to implement new content at short notice.

We’re looking for someone who is confident in their impressive marketing abilities, who is able to consistently bring new ideas to the table. Someone to OWN their role, where you will see firsthand the impact your work has on the growth of the and the clients and brands we represent!

 

About the business

Based near vibrant Cronulla in Sydney’s south, Professional Beauty Solutions is a rapidly growing, Australian-owned beauty distribution company. Our core target market is salons, spas and clinics Australia wide. We also manage the Australian brand representations for a host of global beauty brands, including Pure Fiji, Youngblood Mineral Cosmetics, Sunescape Tan, Image Skincare, Dermalux LED, and loads more!

                        

About the Role

Key tasks and responsibilities will include (but of course, aren’t limited to):

  • Managing a small marketing department
  • Managing the annual marketing calendar for salons with monthly promotions and email marketing campaigns.
  • Managing the writing of social media, newsletters, flyers, website, media releases.
  • Reporting on performance and be accountable for keeping the ball rolling across various channels.
  • Managing and tracking lead generation enquiries and identifying opportunities.
  • Creating & nurturing relationships with salon partners and key stakeholders.
  • Overseeing of all PBS brands social media pages including strategy, daily community management, and generating and analysing social media results.
  • Planning and budgeting of all marketing activities ensuring all activity is delivered on time which you have set and agreed on with Marketing Director/CEO.
  • Identifying appropriate marketing opportunities and executing marketing strategies and plans.
  • Organising educational salon events or trade shows

 

About you:

  • You have a minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar role.
  • You hold a tertiary qualification in Marketing, Communications, PR or a similar field.
  • You’re a proactive and collaborative self-starter who can work autonomously and confidently manage you and your team’s daily workload and project timelines.
  • You’re a super organised multi-tasker with impeccable attention to detail.
  • You’re able to prioritise and stay one step ahead but can quickly adapt when needed.
  • You’re a measured, calm, laidback individual who loves a laugh, and you’re not afraid of hard work.
  • You thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment with competing priorities.
  • You’re an approachable team player who’s willing to assist in all areas of a rapidly growing business.
  • You have advanced Office Suite, Excel and Outlook skills.
  • You have a creative flair for writing, proven communication skills and the ability to influence across the company and industry.
