Who we are:

Woodburn Creatives is a platform for creatives, artisans and entrepreneurs to materialise their ideas, collaborate in a supportive community environment and share their creations with the world. We provide physical studio spaces for working in, shared workshop space with specialised equipment and offer relevant professional services to cultivate creative culture in communities.

Where we are at:

We have been operating in the current space for 5 years as a proof of concept and developed systems and insights for running the business. We are a family run business and are taking the next step to create a professional team and develop a second iteration of the brand and systems while expanding to more properties.

Who we need:

We are looking for a Digital Creative and Marketing Specialist who is experienced, passionate, and would like to immerse themselves with a huge range of creative practices. In this role, you would have creative freedom when creating digital assets, coordinating and performing marketing tasks and assisting in content planning and creation.

Skills required: Squarespace, Photography + Video, Adobe, Socials management

Key Responsibilities

Below are some of the specific responsibilities to give you a sense of what you will be doing.

  • Content Planning & Creation of marketing material; text, images, and video content while liaising with other creatives in the space to generate content.
  • Proactively manage social media posts and community engagement across our social media channels i.e. Instagram, Facebook with attention to sociocultural values.
  • Events management liaising with hirers and assisting with the development of event programming.
  • Update our website on Squarespace with relevant content
  • External outreach and direct marketing – bring forward and explore marketing opportunities to bring in new types of partners and customers. e.g. production companies, agencies and creative festivals.
  • Ongoing competition analysis

Marketing Goals:

  • Explore new marketing methods that reconsiders our coverage and grows our presence.
  • Create a targeted and guided plan of attack for all areas incl socials, in-person events, external activations (markets) and partnerships
  • Up conversion rates and better our feedback/reviews.
  • Create campaigns that generate more following and engagement.
  • Create PR press releases

Management assistance of studios and hires

  • Assistance with management of the space, studio enquiries and signups
  • Assistance with space hire bookings and facilitating the hires of the space
  • Create and update studio listings and manage other listing platforms Spacely, Creativespaces, Gumtree
