Creative Representation is looking for a Managers’ Assistant in Sydney

We are looking for a Managers’ Assistant to work in our Sydney office, this is a role primed for someone who thinks that they could be an Artist Manager one day.

Creative Representation represents actors, writers and directors working in film, television, theatre, and voice-over, as well as radio personalities and presenters including; Leah Purcell, Adam Briggs, Eddie Perfect, Samuel Johnson, Rebel Wilson and The Kates.

This won’t be your first job; you will have had a few years of work experience. You will be motivated and smart and while you don’t need to have worked in show business, you will need to be able to show us that you are passionate about the entertainment industry. We’ll want you to be out and about seeing shows, watching new programs and feeding back intel and reviews to the rest of the team.

You need to be super organised, confident enough to stand up for an Artist and able to deal with volume while still maintaining a keen eye for detail. We will teach you the ropes, but you need to be open to learning and keen to stretch yourself – you will need to get your head around everything from TV run sheets and contracts to press calls and booking travel.

In your application tell us what you’ve seen recently and where you love to go, tell us about your passion for show business and any bits and pieces you feel are relevant.

Skills – you need to be organised and have worked in an office environment before, you need to be able to write confidently and problem solve. You need to be a clear communicator, but you don’t need to be loud – a quiet confidence will work just fine. You probably have a university degree, but we’re not fussed what it was in – it could be a business or law degree, or it could be arts.

Most of all you need to be passionate about working behind the scenes to support creative people.

We have a range of employment benefits with a history of being ahead of the curve, paid parental leave, wellbeing support and tickets to shows!

Applications close Thursday 26 May 2022

Don’t delay we will review applications as they arrive.
