Want to learn some mad skills and cut your teeth with an organisation that’s trying to make the world a more vibrant place? Australia’s creative HQ, Work-Shop, needs the help of an extraordinary marketing junior and all rounder to help us shine in the spotlight!

We run a fun and quirky array of short courses taught by a talented line up line up of local artists and makers. Over the past 9 years we have engaged tens of thousands of Sydneysiders in new skills and experiences. The likes of Gemma O’Brien, Phibs, Canon, Gelato Messina and Young Henry’s have all taught classes with us and we also encourage emerging artists to share their skills.

Whilst community learning is at the heart of what we do, we also run team building workshops, activations, parties, events… if it’s creative, we love to get involved.

Over the last few years we have done a pop up with Vice magazine, helped Microsoft launch their Surface tablet, did a beer launch for Little Creatures and run creative classes at Westfield Shopping Centres.

We are a small but mighty team so everyone pitches in with setting up classes, curating the line up and general duties but your core focus will be working on our marketing channels. Everything from social media, digital marketing to strategic partnerships. We’re regularly featured in Broadsheet, Time Out and Concrete Playground so you’ll have a great starting platform. You’ll also gain some kick ass contacts which will definitely be an advantage down the track. With the amount of rad stuff that we do, you’ll never be short of content.

Based at our studio in Arncliffe, your hours will be primarily between 9am – 3pm on Saturday and Sunday so would be perfect for a student but anyone is welcome to apply. If you have a passion for marketing and creativity we want to hear from you! Along with your resume, please send a cover letter highlighting things that you love and what makes you tick.
