A Head of Promotions is responsible for planning, developing, and executing promotional campaigns to boost a events brand visibility, product sales, or service uptake. This role often involves collaboration with marketing, sales, and creative teams to ensure alignment across all promotional activities.

Basic Job Description:

  1. Strategic Planning: Develop and implement promotional strategies that align with the company’s marketing and business objectives.
  2. Campaign Management: Oversee the planning, execution, and performance analysis of promotional campaigns across various channels (e.g., digital, print, events).
  3. Collaboration and Coordination: Work closely with the marketing, sales, creative, and product teams to ensure promotions are consistent with brand messaging and objectives.
  4. Budget Management: Allocate and manage budgets for promotional activities, ensuring cost-effectiveness and return on investment (ROI).
  5. Market Research and Analysis: Conduct market research to understand customer preferences, competitor activities, and market trends to inform promotional strategies.
  6. Team Leadership: Lead and manage a team of promotion specialists, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure successful campaign execution.
  7. Performance Monitoring: Analyze the effectiveness of promotions using KPIs and metrics, and provide reports with insights and recommendations for future campaigns.
  8. Relationship Building: Build and maintain relationships with external partners, such as media agencies, vendors, and influencers, to enhance promotional efforts.
