Focus Creative is on the hunt for a graduate to join our growing team! We are looking for an organised go-getter to join us as part of our Graduate Launch Pad Program. It is a structured 12-week paid placement that introduces new graduates or final year students to a career in the creative, communications and marketing industry. 

You’ll get to immerse yourself in our studio culture while receiving mentorship and training to hone your project management and strategic skills. You must enjoy problem solving and getting stuck into any challenge, no matter how big or small – you’ll be collaborating with others to work on live briefs for both Focus Creative and our clients. You will be working directly with strategic, creative, sustainability and client services teams in a collaborative, fun and dynamic environment. Those who are successful will have the opportunity to work with us on a full-time basis.

We provide strategy, branding and design services for clients across a number of sectors, and we believe our actions have the power to create positive behaviour change. With creativity and sustainability baked into who we are and how we work, we use our expertise to help clients supercharge their abilities and boost their positive impact. Our methodologies help break down complex problems into actionable plans. It’s this customer-focused approach that has enabled us to continuously deliver award-winning work for our clients.


  • Be highly organised with strong attention to detail
  • Have good written and oral communication skills
  • Be a quick learner and able to work to tight deadlines under pressure
  • Manage projects from start to finish, taking ownership over the budget, time and quality of work delivered
  • Have the ability to manage and prioritise their own workflow as well as the teams that they support
  • Have the ability to work without supervision, showing initiative to get the job done 
  • Be passionate about sustainability, creative and marketing work
  • Be able to build good working relationships with colleagues and suppliers
  • Have a proactive attitude
  • Any experience with research and data analysis will be considered a bonus, but not essential
  • Be available for a minimum of 2 days a week for 12 weeks


  • Final year student or recent graduate with Tertiary qualifications in Marketing, Business, Commerce, Communications, Project Management, Research, Sustainability, or a similar field


  • Flexible work arrangements with the ability to work from both office and out of office locations (we’ll work with you to determine any accommodations and adjustments you need to suit your personal circumstances, such as condensed or adjusted working hours or working remotely)
