Event Stylist / Project Manager

POSITION DESCRIPTION

We are on the hunt for a freelance Event Stylist / Project Manager to join our team. The role will be responsible for creating beautiful and memorable events and brand activations for our corporate & private clients. The purpose of the role is to deliver inspired events of all sizes including but not limited to shopping centre events & activations, product launch activities, and large-scale private client events.

ABOUT THE ROLE

From initial client liaison, to input into the creative concepts, all the way through to execution, you will exceed clients’ expectations and will be responsible for:

• Building relationships with key clients and suppliers & responding to briefs
• Creative responses and proposals for client briefs
• Initiating event or brand ideation including set design and mock ups, and client presentation and quoting
• Delivery of premium events to exceed client expectations
• End-to-end coordination and execution of events and development of run sheets etc.
• Budget management of events including supplier negotiation as required
• Development and maintenance of supplier relationships
• Manage all styling deliverables and ensuring they are met and exceeded
• Recognise potential corporate opportunities
• Strategically drive and develop new client opportunities on behalf of the business
• Development and maintenance of relationships with both existing and potential clients to increase business

WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR

We’re after someone with proven experience in events. A natural leader who has a proven track record of building strong client relationships and exceeding their expectations.

You need to be driven and have a minimum of 3 years of experience in the events or design industry. We’re also looking for someone who is exceptional at building strong relationships with clients & suppliers, and can work with a professional attitude and approach.

Required knowledge and skills include:

• Experience working with suppliers and custom design and builds
• Development of creative proposals and concepts
• Skilled at writing proposals, run sheets, and briefs
• Proven ability in Graphic Design to use Adobe suite
• Highly focused, results-oriented and has the ability to get things done
• Excellent attention to detail and methodical organisational skills including effective budget management and planning skills
• Can work well and deliver under pressure; effectively manage competing priorities
• Seeks solutions strategically where problems exist
• Is prepared to travel and work outside business hours as required
