Tori Allen is an agency that designs, plans and activates unforgettable events! From private parties to marquee weddings to large scale Christmas activations, we do it all. We are looking for some fun, energetic, hard working event assistants to help us activate events in Melbourne. The locations vary, the clients are diverse and no two days will be the same. If you love events and are looking for real, hands-on experience then this is the opportunity for you.

About the role:

  • We have a minimum of 15 hours a week to offer for at least the next three months.
  • Shift times can vary – some are early morning – before trade 5:30/6am starts, after trade 5pm or 9pm starts, while other shifts are during business hours.
  • Tasks include pick-ups and drop offs of event items, sorting and packing event items, bump ins which include setting up furniture, signage, tables (crockery, linen, glassware etc), bump outs (pack down), and on the day staff.

What we are looking for:

  • An interest and or experience in events, design, fashion, and/or promotions.
  • Reliable with exceptional time management skills and the ability to multi-task.
  • Strong, professional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Well-presented, friendly, energetic and a good brand ambassador (you may be representing Tori Allen at some events).
  • Shows initiative and is highly organised with attention to detail.
  • Drivers license is essential.
  • A problem-solver with the ability to work under pressure. 
  • A strong, positive work ethic with a ‘can do’ attitude.
