Hours/ Days: 11 hours/ 1.5 days initially. Up to 2 days as needed.

Full day – Thursday, based in Martin Place co-working location. Half Day WFH (Must be Monday or Wednesday)

Pay: $30/hr  

Qualifications: Completed or 2nd/3rd/4th year studying Business, Communications, Commerce or Marketing preferred. 

The Digital Content Coordinator will work closely with the Marketing Manager and is responsible for developing and distributing content, using pre-set templates, across Social Media, and Customer Database (eDM). This role will provide additional support in social media research and implementation, as well as provide support for ad hoc digital asset campaigns. Below is an outline: 

CRM Content:

  • Review Promotional Calendar and identifies relevant Weekly Grocery Promotions
  • Create design elements (banners and tiles) for inclusion in Weekly grocery promotion eDMs using pre-set Canva Templates
  • Creates Copy including subject line, preview text and eDM body copy to go in Weekly Grocery Promotions eDM using approved templates
  • Inserts correct links into Weekly Grocery eDM to Coles/ WW online stores 
  • Downloads customers lists from Shopify online store to ensure up-to-date audiences are used for all eDMs
  • Reports on performance of Weekly Grocery Promotions
  • Creates copy and design assets for Ad Hoc promotions and campaigns 
  • Create design elements using Canva for customers new email automation

Social Media Content

  • Management of Weekly Grocery Promotions including creation of social media tiles for weekly Grocery Promotions (using Canva templates) and posting on Meta platforms as in-feed posts and stories
  • Source content that aligns with Republica Brand Pillars and to engages with the Republica community across social media and website
  • Prepare monthly content calendar template to be filled by copywriter and Marketing Manager
  • Update hashtags to include best performing and relevant to content of each post
  • Add Accessibility Image ID caption to each post before scheduling
  • Research content ideas for monthly content calendar for social media (e.g. International Coffee Day)
  • Report on performance of Social Media organic posts and Weekly Grocery Promotion posts, using Social Sprout and Meta tools
  • Key audiences updated based on stores selling per product
  • Input details into monthly brief for Paid Media Manager.
  • Prepare Fortnight Social Media Report

Website Content

  • Update product pages for Weekly Grocery Promotions
  • Create artwork for campaigns and promotions (e.g. EOFYS)
  • Update store lists as needed

Additional Support

  • Create basic designs in Canva for other customers including Complete Office Supplies, Amazon etc.
  • Other ad-hoc tasks as required by Marketing Manager and Founder
