This is where you come in.

As the Creative Marketing Manager, you’ll take the lead on all things creative at Lorna Jane. Reporting to our founder and CCO, and working closely with our Head of Brand and the rest of our talented Marketing team, you will drive the look and feel of our brand in stores and online.

You’ll be the creative gatekeeper, ensuring all creative and brand touchpoints with Lorna Jane are continuously elevated and consistent from a visual, creative, and brand perspective across all channels. 

You’re someone who can see the bigger picture, and drive the brand story through imagery, video, campaign stories and promotional events. You’re also just as comfortable with getting your hands dirty and owning the creative production process end-to-end across all forms of media, including performance. 
  
You have an eye for detail and an ability to coordinate and run the show when working with designers, photographers, videographers, creative marketers, etc.

You are confident driving a team to execute to tight deadlines and high standards, and you know how to get the best from everyone involved.
  
Here’s what the role looks like in practice..

Performance media production & creation:

  • Liaise with the Brand, Digital and Commercial teams to develop world class content that will drive the performance media channels at Lorna Jane
  • Ideate and collaborate with the marketing team to develop concepts and strategy
  • Own the creation process from storyboard concepts, rough mock-ups through to the finished products
  • Project manage designers, photographers, videographers, motion graphic artists, etc. to develop on brand content that resonates across all relevant channels
  • Demonstrate a real confidence and desire to get your hands dirty ‘creatively’ where and when necessary

Asset production & management:

  • Take ownership of all asset production for the Lorna Jane brand
  • Find, negotiate, and manage creators to produce beautiful photos and videos
  • When necessary, you’ll create the asset yourself so there is no loss of momentum

Manage the creative marketing calendar and implementation across all channels:

  • Own the continually evolving organic content calendar
  • Drive the brands’ communication on organic channels
  • Look for ways to drive, innovate and evolve organic engagement + growth

Management and coordination of the Marketing and Creative teams:

  • Traffic manage across all creative, Content, Social and visual touchpoints, making sure deadlines are always met
  • Focus your team and ensure they are working on the right projects at the right time with an emphasis on value add
  • Feel comfortable stepping into a role where you’ll guide and mentor the team in both creative and marketing
  • Ensure all content and communication is scheduled correctly. 

And here’s what we’re looking for in YOU! 

  • You have at least 5+ years’ experience in a Creative / Brand Strategist / leadership role. 
  • You possess a real understanding of how to drive success creatively for a brand across the full gamut: Design, Content, Social, Organic, Performance Media Creative, Product Branding and positioning etc.
  • You have a passionate and enthusiastic approach to creative direction and creativity as a whole and you’ve got the chops to pull up your sleeves and jump in to create premium creative and brand assets where necessary
  • You’re comfortable playing a role as the ‘go to’ creative gatekeeper and steering the ship for Lorna Jane creatively across all touchpoints and you’ve got the experience and results to show for it
  • You’re a confident self-starter; someone who is comfortable building and fostering strong internal and external relationships
  • You bring in-depth knowledge of all elements of creative communications, and you have a proven track record of strong presentation and communication skills across visual and written mediums
  • You can comfortably sit in a leadership role between the creative marketing and design teams
  • You’ve got strong creative direction and project management skills under your belt, and you feel more than comfortable coordinating and sourcing Photographers, Shoot Coordination, Content and Social Media Specialists to get the job done. 
  • You are effective at time management with the ability to work under pressure to meet strict deadlines
