Guardian Labs (GLabs) is a creative commercial team working with brands to create new and innovative partnerships, products and communities that build, grow, and extend audience reach and engagement.

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Content and Audience Editor to join the GLabs team in our Sydney office on a full-time, permanent basis.

The Content and Audience Editor will fuse creative thinking with strong copy skills to assist the GLabs team with publishing creative content and crafting innovative responses to client pitches. This role will also be responsible for managing off-platform channels, including growing performance and engagement metrics, crafting strong social copy, and the development/implementation of innovative social formats.

We are seeking a self-motivated team player with relevant media, publisher or agency experience working in content (editorial, communications or marketing), experience working in a fast-paced digital environment and a good working knowledge/interest of digital publishing, social media and SEO. The successful candidate will also have experience in creative thinking and creating editorially-minded concepts, a strong understanding of content strategy and digital marketing and the proven ability to craft compelling, snappy short form copy for social channels and edit/sub-edit longer form copy. Prior experience with publishing tools, CMS and reporting and analysing digital metrics will be highly regarded.
