Melior Communications Assistant

We are looking for an Communications Assistant to join our growing team and help support us on a number of exciting projects spanning across fashion, lifestyle, art, wellness and automative.

The position will focus on supporting our wider team in the daily running of our client services as well as working closely with the head of business on idea creation, ideation and delivery.

Everyday at Melior will be different but here are a few tasks you will do more regularly than others:

• Preparing of account service-related documents such as meeting agendas, meeting notes, proposals and other client communications and correspondence
• Participating in and documenting discussions during client meetings and conference calls
• Creating and/or providing feedback on project plans and timelines
• Fielding and processing internal information requests
• Maintaining current work-in-progress records and archives of past project information as appropriate
• Research of relevant industries and trend forecasts

You’ll do well in this role if you have:
• Strong industry knowledge
• Developing and maintaining a working-level understanding of assigned client’s industries, company culture, products/services

• Efficient communication with clients
• Attending the needs of the client and continually seeking ways to add value to the client-agency relationship.
• Strong interest in branding, strategy and marketing

• High competency level required for word, excel and google sheets
• Any experience on Adobe Creative Suite a bonus
• Professional conduct within and outside office while conducting agency business

Education
This role is ideal for a recent graduate or someone new to this side of the business. A bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Public Relations or Business Administration or one year of experience in the field is ideal.
