Posted 12 Jul 2022

Closes 11 Aug 2022

Cheer Squad is a video production company based in Melbourne.

We shoot a broad range of content for our clients, with a focus on what we call people-led storytelling.

As we grow, we’re looking to expand our roster of colourists/post wizards, primarily to service our clients in the Architecture and Design industries.

We want our clients to love working with us, and whilst not really a client facing role, how you are with people, is just as important as your technical skills.

If you’re passionate about colour-grading, and someone who is committed to getting the job done to the highest standard, we’d love to hear from you.

TL;DR:
– Highly creative, technically excellent colourist required
– A passion for design and architecture is a bonus
– Team player, with a commitment to delivering the best finished product we can
– Can work to solve problems both on-the-fly autonomously and under direction

While not an exhaustive list, here’s a bunch of things we’re looking for:
– Know the ins and outs of Davinci Resolve
– Be a conform wizard
– Have a passion for colour grading
– Be confident working autonomously, and have the ability to take initiative
– Know the creative objective, and do whatever it takes to make sure we can deliver.
– Have exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
– Be able to work in a fast paced environment with the ability to meet deadlines and manage expectations
– Be a committed team player, with a desire to be part of a cohesive team working towards a common goal
– Understand and contribute to Cheer Squad’s creative vision, pulling out all the stops to get there.

We offer a friendly, flexible and supportive environment and are excited about working with like-minded people to deliver the best work possible.

This is a part-time or freelance position. Work from our studio in Cremorne, or remotely if you have your own equipment.

Apply below, or send an email to tryouts@cheersquad.com with the subject line ‘Colourist’ – include a bit about yourself, your work history and a link to some of your recent work.

Looking forward to hearing from you!
