An exciting new opportunity has opened up at Craft for an experienced designer to lead our projects through cutting edge design and branding. We’re a forward-thinking marketing and creative agency, focussed firmly on people and human experiences, all while propelling national and global brands forward

This is a part time role with the potential for full time

You’re a highly experienced individual in graphic design, with expert-status in many design programs and tools. You’ll be an artist that loves to stretch the boundaries and will also have experience in video and 2D animation.

You know you’re the right person because of your:

  • Graphic Design experience of 5+ years
  • Prolific ideation and conceptual development
  • Portfolio of Branding projects for organisations big and small
  • Concept-to-Master delivery experience for both print and web
  • Ability to juggle creativity and strategic empathy for the intended viewer/customer
  • Hands-on experience on advertising campaigns, social media and EDMs
  • Basic to intermediate level experience in video editing and 2D animation
  • Ability to estimate new work to enable our accounts team to effectively bring in new work

Furthermore, you’ll really raise our eyebrows with your:

  • Intermediate to advanced level experience in video editing and 2D animation
  • 3D modeling and animation experience
  • Team leadership and management skills
  • Experience within an agency environment
  • Applicable knowledge of accessible design standards

Reporting to the Managing Director, your role will consist of strategic development and execution of branding, style guides, collateral development, design templates, social media content and digital advertising assets

You will be responsible for leading our decisions regarding almost all aspects of our design work and in time, may be granted the opportunity to manage others in our creative department

Part of your role will include stretching yourself and learning professionally and personally, all while enjoying flexibility in working conditions and a hybrid office and WFH culture. You’ll have 1:1s  with the Managing Director every month, as does everyone in the team

Our head office is in Wollongong and we work in many industries, including  sports, e-comm, entertainment, technology, government and renewable energy. Our work is diverse, full of opportunities to excel and learn, and in many respects, plays a part in changing the world

A love for burgers, coffee and ping pong would be a bonus, but not necessary. Typically breaking for coffee and ping pong is the norm around here, and “Burger Wednesday” is a big deal

If you’re keen as mustard, send through your resume, your portfolio and let us know why you’ll fit right in.
