Outline of the role:

The Supporter Experience Unit Volunteer is essential to the smooth day to day running of the entire unit. They will support the unit by undertaking administrative tasks across the organisation’s major fundraising campaigns and direct marketing appeals including June Tax Appeal, Christmas Appeal, Daffodil Day, Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea, The March Charge and more.

Key accountabilities include:

  • Opening and sorting daily mail
  • Event and appeal data entry
  • Packing letters, kits, returned mail
  • Post campaign and appeal filing
  • Other ad hoc duties

Our ideal volunteer will have:

  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Proficiency in working with computers
  • Maintains data integrity
  • Ability to work both individually and as part of a team
  • Positive, ‘can do’ attitude


  • Experience using databases
  • Customer service experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft software
