Key Responsibilities:

  • Process weekly payroll and accounts payable on Xero 
  • Oversight of COA and invoice reconciliation
  • Prepare monthly and annual budgets, manage cash flow, sales reports, and financial reports 
  • Prepare BAS (to be lodged by third party accounting firm)
  • Reconcile supplier statements on a monthly basis (Inventory, DHL, 3PL etc)
  • Forecast and manage inventory and create POs via Xero at the discretion of the VEHLA team. At any given time, you should be able to list what our inventory level are, open PO’s, what is in production / transit and the target delivery dates
  • Communicate with manufacturers to coordinate inventory orders and imports
  • 3-matching of POs, PIs, receipt of inventory to warehouse
  • Track and review the business financial performance ensuring the maximization of revenue and cost reduction
  • Assist in other ad hoc reporting and analysis projects to support the VEHLA team and business
  • Experience with inventory forecasting 


About you:

  • Previous accounting & payroll experience in e-commerce is essential
  • Must have experience with Shopify & Xero
  • Previous experience with foreign currencies and multiple payment methods (Afterpay, Paypal, etc.) is desirable
  • Advanced Excel Skills and analytical skills
  • Ability to learn fast, especially new technologies e.g. Slack, DocuSign, Airtable
  • Preferably experience with inventory management software such as Dear or Netsuite
  • Ideally former Big 4 who wants to join a fast-growing e-commerce business with flexible work hours
